Fasting for 21 days

I would just like to say that I was surprised that the three weeks of fasting that Daniel did, ref. Daniel 10:2-3 has not been mentioned, but I do love your question and answer section. I am fasting for spiritual growth, and I know I will receive it when I humble myself before him. But this is the reason so many choose 21 days. thanks for your time and the wonderful informative site!
