How's John doing?
Tue, 31 Jul 2007
Everybody is asking how John is doing, since he got back from Iraq. He seems to be adjusting back to USA real well. He said his missionary experience makes it a lot easier. We praise God that he is active again at Christ Community Church. He found a home to live with one of our Sunday School friends. He started work last week as a personal trainer at the Gold's Gyms in Omaha. He plans to attend the University of Nebraska at Omaha full time this Fall.
We praise you Heavenly Father for blessing John so richly during these days of adjustment to life in America. Draw John close to You as he continues his transitions in life.
We're impatiently waiting for your return. George
Tue, 24 Jul 2007
George called to let us know that everyone is looking forward to our August 18th return to Abidjan. We're glad that many other families are arriving as well. Radwan's wife and children arrived last week. They were living in Lebanon since November 2004. Michel told us last week that his wife and children are also moving back to Abidjan. They've been in Paris since October 2002.
Heavenly Father, we thank You that Cote d'Ivoire is safer and more stable. Prepare the way for the Farhos and the many other families which are returning to Abidjan.
Sinus infection
Fri, 20 July 2007
Pray for me, Mike. A week ago my allergies started to bother me. Unfortunately, I waited until yesterday to see a Dr. I hope this antibiotic, Levaquin, kicks in right away. Life is real busy with our departure less than 4 weeks away.
Heavenly Father, strengthen Mike. Help him to breath clearly again. Take away the headache and all the other nasty symptoms. What has changed in USA?

Are we going to Abidjan today? Joshua
Wed, 11 Jul 2007
Joshua thought that since there weren't any sheets on his bed that we were leaving today for Abidjan. We have tickets to leave the USA on August 17. So we will be here for a little while still. It was good to talk with a number of our Lebanese families in Abidjan this week. They greet you and are looking forward to our return to Cote d'Ivoire.
Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your faithfulness. Encourage Mike and Sue's friends in Abidjan. Help John as he looks for a place to live when Mike and Sue return to Africa.
Happy Independence Day in the USA
