"The best way for us to accomplish the will of God is to network together in prayer." Rev. Nevin Wiest

Please pray for Odin and Bep Woerdekom, our FM Radio Technician from Holland. They are working hard at installing and setting up our FM radio stations here in Côte d'Ivoire. They will travel to Abengourou, 3 1/2 hours, on Friday with Pastor Daniel. They will meet with the local radio committee there and work on the plan for the facility to be built there. Odin is working from 8am to 5pm daily here in Bouaké. Pray that he would get everything in good working order before he leaves in about one month.

"It is like being a first term international worker all over again!" Mike, after moving us into our third home this year.

We are living again at International Christian Academy (ICA), John's School. We lived here from January to July 2001 to run an elementary dormitory. Then we moved back to our other home at the Mission Station. Now we are temporarily living in ICA school staff housing, since Sue is still teaching here. We also want to get some relief from the bandits in town.

Pray for us as we get used to our new location and additional responsibilities. We are also temporarily running the international worker guesthouse in Bouaké. That is where our FM radio station, recording studio and our other home are located, eight miles from ICA.

"If you must choose, take a good name rather than great riches, for to be held in loving esteem is better than silver and gold." Proverbs 22:1

Our family name in Arabic, "Farah", means "Joy". Is that a "good name"? Knowing that you pray for us and give to meet our financial needs are two sources of joy. Thank you for your faithful prayers and generous financial support.

There are four ways to directly support us financially:

1. Your gifts to FARHO SUPPORT go to the Great Commission Fund (GCF) of The C&MA. The GCF provides for our allowance and daily ministry expenses. The GCF also supports about 800 other international workers world-wide and funds our national office in the USA and other related USA ministries.

2. Your gifts to the FARHO WORK Account provide us with funds for ministry projects and equipment that are not covered by the GCF.

3. Your gifts to the FARHO OUTFIT Account provide us with funds to pay for mission approved personal items, like furniture, appliances, computer equipment, and clothes.

4. Your gifts to the FARHO VEHICLE Account accumulate for the eventual replacement of our vehicles.

To give to any of the above accounts, send a check with the appropriate account name on the memo line to

The C&MA
P.O. BOX 35,000
CO Springs, CO, 80935-3500

You can also put your check in the offering at your local Church. Gifts to all these accounts are tax deductible.

Why are we telling you how to support us financially? Our allowances were cut by 5% starting in May. They were cut by an additional 8% last month. Giving to the GCF is falling far short of the amount required for our world-wide ministries. For more information go to The Web site.

In three days, Odin has done an incredible amount of work. Pray for Odin, our new short term radio international worker. He has been here for one week. Some of that was spent in Abidjan. He arrived here Friday and started work right away on Saturday. Pray for him as he makes the plans for modifications to our building where the new FM Station will be installed. There are many modifications to make for good sound quality. Pray that we would be able to get our equipment from the airport. It arrived, but the duty officers have been on strike.

This cross was a part of World Trade tower One, and was found in World Trade building Six

"Thank you Jesus that you are in me and all around me." Annie in The Vine by Bruce Wilkerson. In these days of uncertainty, we are glad to know that Jesus is with us. We need to remember that the world is the Lord's. He can handle it! 2 Chronicles 20:15.

Our new "Radio Man," Odin, and his wife arrive in Bouaké on Friday. Pray for him and pastor Daniel as they make important visits to other media people in Abidjan. Pray for their safe travel up on Friday.
