from the Farhos

What are we most grateful for this year? First, we are grateful that you are on our prayer team! Because you pray, God moves on our behalf. Thank you!! Secondly, we are thankful that Sue has not had any migraine headaches since we asked you to pray. Our new doctor diagnosed them as resistant malaria, at a level too low to show up on tests, but causing the headaches. For over ten years, we have been treating the symptoms and not the cause. Praise God with us that the new treatment is working so well.

Every problem has a solution.
Lebanese Proverb

We have one solution for every problem, prayer. We thank God for your vital partnership with us in prayer. Praise God for the spiritual growth that the Church in Cote d'Ivoire is experiencing, in the midst of many great problems. Pray for Muslims around the world, as their holy month of Ramadan fasting draws to a close this weekend. Pray that God would give them dreams and visions of Jesus as the Way, the Truth and the Life. John 14.6

"Are we moving again daddy?" Joshua

No, Praise God, we aren't moving again! Joshua just saw a room with everything moved for a good mopping. If you want to see two of the homes we have lived in, go to to see our slide shows. Thanks for praying for Joshua's friend and his dad. They are doing OK, but still hurting. Keep praying for them. Pray for us as we are making major advances in our Arabic conversation and grammar.

"No, I refuse to believe it is true!" Mike

That was my response to the father of Joshua's favorite classmate. He told me that his wife was shot twice and died yesterday afternoon. Three robbers surrounded her car, stole her purse and shot her. Pray for us as we try to help Joshua's friend and his dad. Pray for us, as safety in Abidjan is only found in Jesus Christ.
