"I want to go home to Abidjan." Joshua
He said he doesn't feel safe here in America. They don't have tornados in Cote d'Ivoire! I will take John to the airport tomorrow morning for his week in Dakar, Senegal. Pray for his safe travels there and back.

5/19/2004 John graduated from Westside High School in Omaha, NE last night.
Thanks to your faithful prayers, we had safe and smooth travel from Abidjan to Omaha last weekend. Last night we were at John's graduation from Westside. We are so proud of him. He really worked hard and got excellent grades. We are thankful for his youth pastor, Kip, who mentored him this year. We also thank God for all our family and friends who helped him during his year of high school so far from us.
Heavenly Father, we thank you for your provision of all of John's needs. Give Mike and Sue your strength for the busy days ahead in USA. Keep them healthy and holy!
5/11/2004 "Six more days and we will be in Omaha!" Sue
We will be fly out of Abidjan Saturday night. Our arrival in Omaha is Sunday May 16th at 6:45 PM. We are excited about being back in USA for eight months. We will be speaking in churches and attending the University of Nebraska in Omaha. We will attend Arabic classes. Pray that God would provide a Lebanese Arabic tutor. Next Tuesday is John's graduation from Westside High School.
Heavenly Father, protect Mike, Sue and Joshua as they travel. Give them strength, patience, smooth transfers from flight to flight and good naps along the way.
"When you plant a tree, you have to wait a while for the fruit." Philippe
That was Philippe's response when I asked him why it takes so long for some Lebanese to understand the Gospel. Thank you for praying about our strategic review. It was a great opportunity to see how God worked here in the past. It was also exciting for us to look forward to what God can do through us in the future.
Patient Father, give Mike and Sue your patience. Give them your vision and dreams for the future of their ministry in Abidjan.
