That's right, we're headed to Iglesia Betel de la ACyM, an Hispanic Alliance Church this weekend. It is in Ottumwa, Iowa. On the way we'll have a couple of days with Grandpa Roy Porter. He is doing so much better than when we first arrived in Des Moines on April 1. Thank you for your prayers for Roy. We praise our great God, who is giving him more quality days with us.
Dear Heavenly Father, use Mike, Sue and Joshua in a special way as they share their passion for souls in Ottumwa. Bless this brand new church as they experience their very first missions conference.
Let's talk about it

We praise the Lord for the opportunity to attend a marriage communication seminar last Saturday and Sunday. It taught us lots of good tools to better communicate with each other and our children. Speaking of our children, John is still in Iraq. He is doing well. His tour there has been extended until about Sept. Keep praying that he would return before our July 8 departure to Cote d'Ivoire.
Heavenly Father, thank You for the Farhos home in Omaha, NE. Guide and protect Mike, Sue and Joshua as they visit Grandpa Porter in Des Moines, IA and speak this weekend in Rosemont Alliance Church in Lincoln, NE.

Jesus Christ is risen! We hope your Easter was as blessed as ours.
On March 24, 2007 the 14th peace accord was signed between the New Forces rebel group in the north and the government of Cote d'Ivoire. The new prime minister, Guillaume Soro, is the leader of the New Forces rebel group. This week he formed a government that could reunite the country. Elections by the end of this year seem possible. Peace would open many new doors for sharing the Gospel throughout the country.
Heavenly Father, continue to bring these opposing forces together to bring peace back to Cote d'Ivoire. Thank you Lord for providing a furnished home for the Farhos in Omaha.
Snow flurries in Des Moines
Wed, 04 Apr 2007
What a joy to sit here in the warm friendly home of a prayer partner in Des Moines. As we look out the bay window this frigid morning, snow flurries swirl around crowded bird feeders. Joshua is praying for a blizzard, but we need to drive to Omaha to pick up my brother Lou at the airport to return his SUV. Sue is driving our loaner car for the next three months, a beautiful blue two door Cadillac Eldorado.
Praise you Father for keeping the Farhos safe as they travel to Omaha and back to Des Moines. Give Grandpa Roy strength as his liver Cancer enters its final stage. Thanks to You, he is not experiencing any more pain.
