These posts to our prayer blog are actually e-mail messages that we send out every Tuesday to our prayer team.
You are really needed on our prayer team. You are invited to join our much appreciated team of prayer partners.

Welcome home John!!!

We're sure happy to have our son back from Iraq. Thanks for your prayers, making it happen.
Good news continues in Abidjan, with some very positive steps toward peace. There was also some bad news. One of the main markets (Cocody) burned to the ground.
Heavenly Father, comfort those parents who lost their children in Iraq. Help those who lost so much in the huge fire in Abidjan.

Living the Call Together!
Tue, 12 Jun 2007
One of our prayer partners wrote us yesterday, asking to be removed from our team. Why? Because their life was in such a state that they couldn't even pray for another person. Please friends, let us know how we can pray for you! We are Living the Call Together as a team!
Heavenly Father, we join together and pray for the needs of our partners. Replace depression with joy. Replace sickness with health. Fill us with the fruit of Your Holy Spirit. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.
Mike's CT Scan results
Wed, 6 Jun 2007
We're so grateful for your prayers that the two nodules in my left lung would disappear. Because you prayed, the news is wonderful. I now have absolutely normal lungs, with no nodules!
More good news:
Our son John should return before our return to Abidjan on August 17.
Let's pray:
Thank you Heavenly Father for giving Mike clear lungs. Forgive us for our unbelief. Thank you for our C&MA Mission leaders, who gave the Farhos some additional weeks in the USA to be with John, after his duty in Iraq.
Pulmonary nodules and reception in Omaha
Sat, 2 Jun 2007
Sue and I had our regular physicals on Thursday. My chest x-ray revealed two pulmonary nodules on my left lung. On Tuesday, 5 June, I'll have a CT scan to better examine these nodules.
If you're in Omaha, tomorrow, Sunday, 3 June, we'll be having a reception along with Carolyn Thorson. It will be at Christ Community Church, 404 South 108 Avenue, at 6pm in the gym.
Heavenly Father, please remove these nodules from Mike's lung before Tuesday. Give the Farhos and Carolyn, great fellowship with their friends and prayer partners on Sunday evening.
