Christ Community Church College Team
A work team of college students, including our son John, and their pastor from Christ Community Church in Omaha, NE is serving with us in Cote d'Ivoire from May 16-30. The first week, they will be painting at the C&MA West African Theological Seminary. The second week they will be repairing and painting the Modeste village C&MA Bambara Church facility and building 30 benches. The team will also be building bridges of love to the 127 orphans living at the Grand Bassam Girls Orphanage.
Saturday night, May 24th, the team will be participating in an evangelistic meeting, showing the Jesus Film. On several nights, they will also be showing fun and evangelistic films for the children at the orphanage. For more details and photos, visit the team blog at http://www.farho.net/ccc2008/

How wonderful and rewarding for you to have your son involved with such a project. You must be most thankful.
Hope Sue is recovering from her traumatic experience.
Ever heard of John Guest? Anglican minister form the Sewickley area? I am going on a mission trip with his church to Uganda where I will get to meet a pastor I have been sponsoring for 7 years. Leave on the 31 so you can include me in your prayers. Thank you.

This is the only orphanage that we are helping. We frequently drive by it and made contact with them a couple years ago. God loves these kids and we do too!
How exciting to have the Christ Community Church College Team there to help. BUT how exciting that you get to see your son too. Isn't God good all the time.
Praise God as we are in the prayer team for you and your family and the family of God. We need to hear more about what our GOOD kids are doing for Jesus.
Praise GOD for such willing people,
Who is the Pastor coming with the team John is leading to your station? We go to the Sarpy Campus so some things go by us.
Bet you are all getting pretty excited for the teams arrival especially John. What fun for Josh to have his big brother with him. You are in our prayers.

Dear Mike, Sue, Joshua, Johnathan, and Omaha team, It sounds as if the Omaha teams time in Cote d'Ivoire is blessed . I would love to have gone with the team to visit, hold, Love and encourage the children in the orphanage. My prayers are with all of you for good health and safety. May Jesus bless the lives of the children in the orphanage as you share the love of Christ with them. May the children come to know Christ as their Savior and Lord through your testimony of him and by your Love for them and one another.
In Christ Jesus

Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. James 4:8
I enjoyed seeing pictures of the young
people there. They are a nice looking group. They seem to be enjoying
their Mission trip and they are doing a great service for the people there. May the Lord keep all of you safe and well & may it be a time in their lives that they will NEVER forget. May the Lord bless all of you there and them as they return to Nebraska. (I spent a yr. in Lincoln, Neb. during WW2).
In His Love, Fae
