God, if you exist, prove it to me!
A Lebanese man became frustrated and angry at what seems like God's indifference with what is happening in Abidjan. He climbed on the roof of his house in front of his friends and cried out, "God, if you exist, prove it to me!" That night he had a dream in which God spoke to him. He reached out and grabbed at a red star that was flying by him. The star burned him. Then he awoke, to find his right arm burned and blistered to his elbow. Now many Lebanese are telling his story of new faith in God to their friends.Heavenly Father, we know you exist and thank You for Your presence in our lives. Open closed hearts to Jesus as they hear this man's story. Give Mike and Sue opportunities to encourage them in their faith.

The LORD loves righteousness and justice; the earth is full of his unfailing love.

We love you all,

What an amazing thing to happen, God shows himself on his terms not ours and when he does we should all fall down on our knees and praise him. We love you guys and pray for you and your safety always.

HEAVY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Praise the Lord, what can we say. He IS in charge. God bless you, Tim & Kim
Hi Mike and Sue,
Strange, yet I know that the Lord does speak to individuals in Africa through such dreams.
Praying for him and for your continued ministry in the Abidjan area.
In Christ, Bob O.
Hi Mike - this is a true story? If so, how do they find Jesus? (I know you are there to guide them) I have heard visions are happening in the Muslim community, we just don't hear them unless missionaries tell them firsthand. I know you are there during frightful times, and yet exciting at the same time. I pray you are safe from all the unrest going on. Unrest is all over the world - the news is quite depressing, I don't even watch it any more. May the Lord lead you daily as you serve him - blessings, Linda
Wow, what a story It is wonderful how God works in His Time and Way!
We are doing fine in Gabon and have Field Forum next week. We go back to
the States on the 15th of August. Love and prayers, Kathy
Dear Mike and Sue, From what I'm reading and hearing, many people in that part of the world are coming to know the Lord. These are exciting days, and you are in the middle of the action :-) While the culture here is 'going south' it is encouraging to know that elsewhere there are many many more who are coming to realize there is GOD, and coming to know Him as well.
Thanks for the story. Much love and blessings, Rose PS Yesterdays earthquake was 5.4 and really jolted my home. Hopefully it was a wake up call for many.
Thanks for sharing this. I have a very dear Lebanese friend who I am praying will have a dream as powerful as this one.
Cool! God wants us to cry out to Him. Amen!
God Bless you and yours, Mike.
How amazing, we know God is not limited in how He chooses to act. Praise Him for this unusual (to us) action and the results.
Greetings Mike!
The story of a Lebanese is wonderful. God is existing and thanks that God revealed Himself that way in his life so that the unbelieving can know surely that God exists. Thanks to our heavenly father. It's wonderful story. Pass our greetings to all who are there in Jesus name.

Good day,
This is just great!!! The other night my friend and I discussed "People who does not believe that God actually exists". He wondered what he could do to prove to someone that God really exists. I just told him that he should pray about it, God will make things happen in His own time. To read about this is just proof that He really hears His people. Proof for people who doesn't believe!!!
Thanks a million!!!
Have a great day!!!

Praise the Lord my brother and sister in Christ! May Jesus continue to reveal himself to the people of Abidjan. May many come to know him as their Savior and Lord. Pray for me that while I am interning in Des Moines Ia. as a Chemical Dependency counselor, that Jesus will draw the broken and hurting to himself and that they too will come to know him as Lord. To Christ Jesus be the glory in the churches. amen
