Pray about John's shoulder pain

Please pray for our son John's shoulder surgery recovery. He's home but couldn't sleep last night because of pain. He is getting a different pain killer now.

With love and gratitude,
Mike, Sue, John, and Joshua Farho

We are praying for John. How is he doing? My sister-in-law (age 60) had surgery the day before John. I trust John is doing well. Both Herb and I have had shoulder surgeries so we can empathize. I cannot imagine how he will be recovered to the point of going to military camp in September. Time for a "John Update", please!

Also, how is Sue doing? I still think about her incident involving her purse being stolen, etc., etc. and pray for God's total healing for her mind and emotions.

Blessings,
Barb and Herb

Mike,
Scott here. We met 2 yrs ago at Christ Community Church, now Sandy Ridge Alliance Church.  I have had shoulder dislocation in the past.  I'm praying for John today.  Claiming Col. 1 17-18.  that says: He "holds all things together"
Keep smiling the light of our Lord.

I pray he has been given some medicine to relieve the pain and pray he will heal quickly.
I never did mention I got a nice letter from him some time ago thanking me for my gift when their team came there.
Love, Fae

Mike,
My husband, Ken  had a rotator cuff repaired this past January '08.  He  knows the pain John is having, and sometimes I feel as
though I have the pain for him. Therefore, we will be praying for John, and we trust God our perfect healer to knit those sinews back
together as only He can do.
Nellie and Ken, (First Alliance, Lexington, NC)

(Ken's doctor had him to sleep in a recliner for several weeks. He told Ken the chair would help hold his shoulder as it should be held as he slept.)

I have a son who is about to enlist in the Air Force.  As a parent, I can imagine how concerned you must be.  I am very impressed with all the accomplishments your son has made and continues to make.  I am thankful he is getting the medical care he needs and the change in his pain medication.

Lord, Jesus Please continue to heal and touch John’s shoulder.  Please relieve his pain, lead him beside the still waters. Thank you for your promise to make ALL things work for the good for those who love you and are called according to your purpose.  I thank you for John’s dedication to you and for his recent baptism! Guide and protect him. In Jesus name, amen.

I will continue to lift you and your family in prayer.

Lord bless,
Grace

It is so hard to be away from your children especially when they are not feeling well. That mother instinct is always there and for a dad as well. I understand that surgery is quite painful so I will pray for John. I believe it is a slow recovery as well. I will pray as well that there will be someone who will help him.

Blessings,
Bettie

Dear Farho's,
I will pray for John's shoulder pain.  I've heard that it is one of the worst pains because every move we make involves our shoulders, etc.

Love in our dear Savior,
Susie

Mike, Sue, John and Joshua:

I pray for all of you and John just remember :
Paul said "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me"  Phillipians 4:13
That is a verse my little niece gave me years ago when she was only 8 years old.  I use it all the time and trust me it works miracles!

Be Bless
Sister Dee

Hi Mike and Sue and Josh!  Thank you for the update on John...I was wondering how he was doing...was praying for him on the way into work...which I found out later was about the time he was having the procedure/surgery.
