Ramadan is over

The fasting month of Ramadan finishes with the celebration of Feast of Breaking the Fast (Eid al-Fitr), or the Little Feast (al-Eid saghir). It occurs at the conclusion of Ramadan and is held on the first day of the month of Shawwal. For most Sunni Muslims, that was today. For most Shi'a Muslims, that will be tomorrow. West African Muslims are mostly Sunni, so today was a legal holiday in Abidjan, Cote d'Ivoire, where nearly 50% of the population is Muslim. The Lebanese population here is mostly Shi'a Muslim, so they will celebrate their Little Feast tomorrow. Learn more about Islam at our website: http://islam.farho.net

Heavenly Father, we ask You to reveal yourself to Muslims through dreams and visions. Open Your arms to them in new and wonderful ways, so they can trust in Jesus Christ, the Lamb of God, for forgiveness.

Thanks so much for the info on http://islam.farho.net. I was just reading about Hajj.  It is wonderful to have a place to go to get a better understanding. Thanks for the prayer helps, also.
I am asking the Lord to help me grow in love for Muslims, as I have had a surprisingly bitter attitude toward them, and I do not really know why, (other than 9/11?).
Thanks again,
Glenn

Dear Mike and Sue,
Beautiful prayer for the Muslim people!  May God richly bless you both and your dear sons!  I pray all is well, and that your prayers are being answered in mighty ways.
1. Has the Lord healed the ringing in your ears, Mike?
2. How is Joshua's tutor doing?
3. The needs of your congregation?

God bless all of you in the mighty, matchless Name above all Names, Jesus Christ!

Your Sister in Christ Jesus,
Susie

Thanks for your faithful prayers Susie!

1. My ears are still ringing. Seems to be a little worse this week. I wonder if it is humidity related.

2. Joshua's tutor is doing very well. He is back to work and over his Malaria.

3. Pray that God would give us more faithful friends who want to study His Word.

So sorry, brother Mike, that your ears are still ringing!  Lord, You are the only One who can heal Mike and we trust You because Your Word says that you ARE the Healer - Jehovah-rapha!  We ask that You would heal whatever it is that is causing this problem.  Thank you, Lord!  We praise You, Lord!  Thank you!

Also, dear sweet Lord Jesus, please send those who You have chosen to hear the Word taught with the Farho's, and reignite the Fire of the Lord in the hearts of the friends who will come to learn and they will have sincere desire to know more of You!  In Jesus' Mighty Name. Amen and Amen.

Your Sister in Christ,
Susie

Greetings Mr & Mrs Farho,

Lord, I pray that you will cast your holy spirit and reveal that Jesus is the only way, truth and life to all there at the celebration and after.

Amen
