Back home in Abidjan
It is great to be home again. But we have heard a lot of bad news already. One good friend was riding home in a taxi one evening. He woke up in a hospital the next day. He found out that the taxi driver died when their taxi was struck head-on by a car running a red light. Our friend recovered OK, but both of his retinas are detached. His vision is black about 10 minutes a day. A European doctor in Togo will do his laser surgery as soon as he gets enough money together for his surgery.
Heavenly Father, we ask You to heal these two retinas and save this man's eyesight. Give the doctors wisdom and steady hands for this surgery!

WOW...I'm so sorry that happened to your friend...I prayed for him. I'm glad nothing else happened to him. Have you adjusted to the change in the
weather???
We made a smooth adjustment. The weather turned cool, because you prayed!
How terribly sad!!! Hope the surgeon is able to repair the retinas so he
can see again. Prays to all of you.
It is good to know you are back in Abidjan, but sorry for your friend. May God restore his vision. we will pray for him.

We will pray for your friend and hope that his recovery goes well. Glad you made it home safe and sound and that your training went well. It is snowing in Montana and the temperatures are getting chilly. But all is well.

Glad you are home safe. I will pray for your request. My daughter had a detached retina in one eye several yrs. ago- she got to the Dr. fast and the laser treatment worked. It is important it be done immediately.
How horrible! Is there any legal recourse against the cab company? I doubt it, but I just wondered. I will pray for him.
